Dual Cooking Options - The machine has in effect two cooking levels, this allows the user to spit roast or hog roast meat on the upper level and cook further items on the second level. Both cooking levels can be accessed independently for ease of use. The lower level has a pull down oven door and a slide out tray that allows the user to cook a wide variety of food items, such as joints of meat, vegetables and potatoes the possibilities are truly endless. The upper level utilises either a hog roast or spit roast kit. The hog roast is a static tray that allows you to roast meats such as a full pig while the spit roast is the more traditional method of cooking whereby a full pig or lamb is rotated on a pole over flames. This two level design is completely unique to the Platinum hog roast machine and not only offers versatility with regards to the cooking options but the accessibility of the different levels means different food products can be added to the machine at different times. This gives you complete flexibility and will allow the user to cook fantastic and diverse dishes to very precise service times.

 
Capacity – the Platinum hog roast machine has the largest capacity of any machine available in the market today, is dual level design and dimensions are such that can caterer for hundreds of guests from just from one machine without the need for any extra cooking equipments. For example when just considering the options regarding pork:
 
Upper Level: spit roast: 70kg pig, hog roast: 70kg pig 4 joints 20kg
Lower level: 10 joints x 20kg
Maximum Total: 350kg of pork
 

Also the machine is great for cooking for large numbers as a barbeque as food can be cooked in the lower cooking area of the machine and then finished on top on the barbeque plate. The is no limit to what the machine can do and it makes serving very large numbers extremely easy even if different food options are needed i.e. chicken, beef, turkey etc.

Thermostatically Controlled – One of the most important features of the Platinum hog roast machine is its thermostatically controlled burners. Two propane burners run the length of the machine and supply the heat for both cooking levels. This input can be controlled via the gas box which gives the user full control over the temperature of the machine. The thermostat self regulates and gives an even temperature throughout the machine. This produces a better finished product and allows the user to slow cook meats or speed up the process if required. The machine also operates a self ignition system for completely safety and ease of use. No other hog roast machine on the market offers this much control over the cooking process thats why we guarantee perfect results every time.

 
Visual Design – Here at Platinum Hog Roast machines we understand the importance of image. That’s why we have created a product that not only produces fantastic results but also takes into account the look. For example the machine uses glass viewing windows on both cooking levels, so both the user and the customer can look into the machine and watch the pig slowly rotating over the flames or the joints cooking in the lower level. It really adds to the excitement of the event and is sure to get mouths watering. During the service the upper layer spit or hog roast can be raised up into the service position, this not only puts the meat at the perfect height for carving but also puts the meat in pride of place, ready for the customers to marvel at. The meat can then be carved right onto the machine which really adds to the theatre of the event. The Platinum hog roast won’t disappoint.
 
Completely Mobile – Mounted on four catering caster wheels the Platinum Hog Roast machine is completely mobile. We understand that mobile caterers often have to work in unusual and restricted areas and therefore they need equipment which makes life easy and allows the user to get on with what they do best, cook. That’s why the Platinum Hog Roast is designed to help the mobile caterer, easily in and out of any commercial vehicle and with two steering wheels the machine can be moved into even the tightest spaces safely.
 
Gastronomes – Another feature unique to the Platinum hog roast are the two gastronomes attached to the end of the machine. The excess heat from the machine is utilised to warm the two gastronomes which can be used to both store food products and even cook from. For example when serving a hog roasted pig the stuffing can be added to the gastronomes to be kept warm. Other options included gravy, soup, fillings for jacket potatoes, vegetables and so much more. This option not only helps keep food warm for longer services, but allows the chef serving from the machine to add additional items to the plate improving the level of service and adding to the theatre of the event.
 
Accessories – There are four choices for the upper level of cooking on the machine, each offers the user something different and brings a unique set of capabilities to the machine they are a follows.
 
Hog Roast - A large cooking tray to roast any combinations of meats in, this can then be risen into the service position once cooked. The method of cooking has a large capacity, is extremely easy to use and offers the possibility of cooking different food items at once.
 
Spit Roast – The traditional method of cooking that rotates a full pig or lamb on the pole over the flames. An extremely visual way of cooking on the machines that is sure to delight your customers. Once cooked the pig or lamb can be raised into the serving position and can be carved directly from the machine onto the carving tray.
 
Chicken Spit – A rotisserie design that allows up to 36 chickens, strips of beef legs of pork and much more to be rotated on the spit pole. This method of cooking gives you the flexibility of the hog roast accessory combined with the theatre and the visual aspect of the spit roast.
 
Barbeque Plate – a plate that covers the top of the machine and turns it into a barbeque allowing you to cook foods such as burgers, sausage, steak ,fish and other items on the machine.
